Chapter #10: Night, Peanut

Main Idea: The two kids said thanks and bye two peanut and they returned home.

Characters:

Annie: She make a bed for Peanut.
Jack: He kissed Peanut´s head and he said bye to it.
Peanut: It said bye to the kids in its lenguage of mouse.

Summary: They realized that no time passed in Frog Creek. They heard their neighbor´s dog, Henry, barking and his dad calling them for dinner.Jack put the moonstone in his pocket and he pulled on his pack. Annie did a bed for Peanut and she thanked her. Annie put Peanut on the glowing M of the floor. Annie said bye and go out. Jack kissed Peanut, said bye, and he went with Annie. The two kids moved silently and swiftly, like two  warriors returning home.

Personal Commentary: I really liked this final chapter. It finished with a complete mission but making you want to know about the reminding missions. It is amazing all the lessons that Annie and Jack show us in this good book. Finaly, a give the thaks to Mary Pope Osborn because she wrote the amazing series of the magic tree house.

Chapter #9: Mouse-walk

Main Idea: The kids crossed the river and the ninja master gave the kids the first thing to help Morgan: a moonstone.

Characters:

Annie:She told Jack to pretend that they were mice.
Jack:He thought that the branch was too small and it was going to break.
Peanut:The kids found hey in the tree house
The ninja Master:He gave to the kids the first thing to help Morgan.

Summary: Peanut vanished into the grass of the other side of the stream. Jack said that the branch was too small and it would break. Annie told him that they need to pretend they were mouse. Jack forgot everything when he was crossing the branch and the next thing he saw was him in the other side. The tree house was over them but sammurais were comming to them and they were worried because the kids didn´t know were peanut was. They needed to climb the tree and happily there was Peanut and The Ninja Master. He said the kids that they have followed the way of the ninja so, he gave them the first thing to help Morgan: a Moonstone. The Ninja Master went out of the tree house and they return to their home.

Personal Commentary: We are finishing the summary of the book by Mary Pope Osborn. I really like the lesson that Jack is giving use in this chapter. If you want something and you make your best effort to do it, I´m pretty ure you will succed.

Chapter #8: Dragon Water

Main Idea: Thanks to the instructions of the ninja master the kids could pass the samurais without any problem but know they need to pass the icy stream.

Characters:

Jack: He thought that Annie was nuts because she told him to be the rock.
Annie: She had the idea to pretend that theyy were rocks.
Peanut: The kids were going to follow her to cross the stream.
Samurais: They trapped the kids.

Summary: The kids were trapped by the samurais so the decided to "Be nature" an like a rock. At the beggining Jack thought it was nuts but then he started felling as a rock and when he opened his eyes hi realized that the samurais were gone. They continue walking until they were in front of the icy stream. They tried to cross it but they would freeze to death if they cross it so, they decided to "Follow nature" and follow Peanut but it walked on a branch and Jack thought it was too small and it will break.

Personal Commentary: Know I understand the instructions of the ninja master. To be nature is to camouflage with the enviroment and in order to follow nature is to copy the actions of the animals that help you to survive. I think it is a very intelligent advice.

Chapter #7: To The East

Main Idea: The kids were walking and they used nature to find the east, some minutes later, they saw flames coming and it were samurais.

Characters:

Annie: She had the idea of putting their sweatshirt on their heads to look like ninjas.
Jack: He wrote some stuff on his notebook to remember that he need to: "Be nature, Use nature. Follow nature".
Peanut: She need to make silence because the samurais where near.
Samurai: He or she had a bamboo armor and two swords that are gleaming down the moonlight.

Summary: The kids decided to go where the ninja pointed because they thought it was east. Annie and Jack put their sweatshirt to look like a ninja. After some time walking they decided to check their position and they tried to "Use nature" doing a compass with and stick pushed in a place with moonlight. When they were in the rocky mountainside checking their direction, they saw flames of fire comming (samurais). The last they saw, was a samurai with a bamboo armor and two swords comming down the mountain.

Personal Comentary: In this chapter they explain an example of how to do nature and I am going explained it a little bit. To do this compass you need a stick of wood, you pushe the stick in a place where you can see moonlight. The shadow of the stick is going to show where is the east I really liked this example of use nature.

Chapter #6: Shadow Warrior

Main Idea: The kids need to find the way to the tree house alone in order to prove that they are worthy of thhe Ninja Master´s help.

Characters:

Female Ninja: She gave the Morgan´s note to the Ninja Master and she bowed him.
Jack:He explained who were him and her sister.
Annie: She told the ninja master why they were there.
Ninja Master: Is going to help the kids if the prove they are worthy to receive his help.
Peanut: She poked her hair out of Annie´s pouch.

Summary: When the kids went into the cave they saw a figured sitting on a woven mat (The Ninja Master).After The kids introduced themselves, they realized that the female ninja (the short one) gave the Morgan´s note to the ninja master and he said that he would help them if they prove that they are  of his help. Unhappily, the ninjas needed to go because there were samurais and the kids needed to find the way to the tree house alone. Before going, the Ninja Master gave them an instruction: "Use nature. Be nature. Follow nature."

Personal Comentary: I think that the ninja master´s instructions are very strange because it is very difficult to understand. If someone told you: "to survive you need to be nature", you probably are going to think: "I don´t know what to do know, What I´m going to do?"

Chapter #5: Flames in the Mist

Main Ideal: The kids were following the ninjas to a cave with many torches and after some time the figured out that there were the ninja master.

Characters:

The ninjas:They appeared and dissapered in the forest like if they were ghosts.
Jack:He started liking the ninjas and at that moment he didn´t felt scared.
Annie:She asked her brother that where did the two ninjas went.
Peanut: It thanked the two ninjas in its lenguage saying: "Squeak".


Summary: Jack started liking the ninjas because they helped them to cross the icy stream. After saying thanks to the ninjas, the kids started following them and they dissappeared and appeared like if they were ghosts. Some time later they saw some torches and they read some facts about ninjas that made the realized that they were going to see the Ninja Master.

Personal Comentary: This chapter make you want to know more about the ninjas and the fact about the Ninja Master create many doubts about what is going to happen then and if the kids would be in trouble or they would be safe and sound.

Chapter #4: Captured

Main Idea: The ninjas traveled the kids to a place where the kids can find help to free Morgan of the spell.

Characters:

Jack: He thought that the ninjas captured him and her sister and they needed to scape from there.
Annie: She asked the two ninjas help to free Morgan of the spell.
Peanut:Annie promised to take care of her,
The tall ninja: He recived the Morgan´s note from Annie´s hands.
The short ninja: She was the one tat needed to carry Annie from one side of the ricer to the other one.

Summary: When the ninjas went into the tree house. Annie said hello to the ninjas, gave to them Morgan´s note and asked them for help to free Morgan from the spell.The ninjas pointed at the ladder and the four of them went out. Jack wanted to scape whe he had the chance but Annie didn´t want to scape because she thought that the ninjas can help them. They were following the ninjas till they saw a river. The kids tried to cross the river but it was too cold so, the ninjas put the kids on their shoulders and crossed the river with the kids.
Personal Comentary: The way that the two ninjas act is too misterious. I think that is very funny that most of the times Jack think that something bad is going to happen and he is full of stress and very scared; and Annie is very relax and she think that everyone is helping her.
